Example moments

Here's what a finished moment looks like. A few words is all it takes.

A fond memory

My earliest memory of you goes back 37 years when you were 12. I had just started courting Shabnam and would come to your house to visit. If you remember, those first meetings were quite formal. You were already so smart, with that mischievous spark. You’d noticed I always chose the same seat, and one day decided to do something about it. You cleverly blocked my way and beat me to that chair yourself. After all these years, you’re still the same Shirin to me, Smart and yes, mischievous. I hope you stay that way always.

A fond memory

We were backpacking in the Sierra Nevada‘s with a bunch of our dear friends. It rained on us and then started to hail. We finally got back to the campsite and the sun came out. We laid out our wet clothes to dry and as the Sun was setting, You wrapped yourself in a blue sleeping bag and pretended to be some kind of large bug or alien creature that wanted to be friends with us. It was hilarious and we were all laughing so hard that we cried.

She made me laugh

Remember Tupelo? Robin and I decided to bike there for girls' night with zero preparation for the very minor detail that it gets pitch black at night. Cut to a few cocktails later, and we had to bike home. You were literally our lighthouse, driving behind us in the SUV with the high beams on while the two of us pedaled for our lives in front of your headlights laughing our faces off. We laughed so hard the whole way home that by the time I made it to my driveway, I couldn't even stand up—I just lay flat in the middle of the pavement. I honestly haven't laughed that hard in ages.
